what are some good treats recipes for a valentines party?
for teens about 15 yrs old
Well for that age I recommend you just make some simple chocolate fondo (Just melted chocolate). After you do that just cut up some bannanas and buy some strawberries. You could also get marshmallows and some gram crackers to make some quick smores. Also you could bake some chocolate cookies and dip them in the chocolate……hope this helps:)

If you have 15 yr olds – here’s one thing you could do with them. Buy 1 container of refrigerated croissant rolls for each teen and buy one package of almond paste or marzipan for every two to 3 teens. Buy one 7 oz jar of jam for them all to share – raspberry or strawberry is best.
Have each teen open their can (the kind you pop on the counter to open) and separate the crescents into two sections. Have them open the first section to separate all the crescents. Then have them place that part on a sprayed cookie sheet in the shape of an oval – points out – with one side touching the crescent next to it. Then have them put a line of the jam in the center of each of those crescents, all the way around. Then have them take 1/3rd of the almond paste, roll it into a rope, and place it around the oval on top of the jam. Then have them unroll the second section of crescents and place them – point in over the filling with the side touching the crescent next to it. Then on the upper layer, fold down the points and on the lower layer, fold up the points and pinch together to seal. Once it’s sealed, have them bring the bottom of the oval down and the top of the oval down to forma heart. Bake it by the package directions until it is nice and golden. Then make a glaze with powdered sugar, almond extract, a little marischino cherry juice to make it pink, and a little water to make it drizzle consistency. Drizzle them as soon as they come out of the oven.
I did this with my granddaughters and they loved to make and eat them. They are now 13 and 15.
Plus the teens can take theirs home for their parents if they’d like. It’s quite rich and will go a long way.
