Heart Blot Painting is a Valentine-themed activity you can do with your child. As an art project, it gives your child a chance to express themselves through their imagination. Art allows preschoolers to explore and understand their world through creative experiences that emphasize the process of art, not the product. When your child is creating there is no right or wrong way, only their way. (Art instruction does not have specific guide lines for children to follow like a craft.) Art allows your child to be free in their creative mind.

    No that is perfect for preschoolers as well. After the paint is dry you could add stickers of things that live on the earth.

    I have an art idea …
    I have an art idea for earth day or something.
    You take blue and green paint on a circle and blow with a straw, and in the end it makes the earth. It might be fit for slightly older children, but I think it was cool.

What do you think?
