Love is in the air and we’ve got our ClevverTV picks for Valentine’s Day up next!

Hello everyone, welcome back to ClevverTV. I’m Joslyn Davis and today we’re talking about the holiday that has everyone’s hearts a’fluttering….ah yes, Valentine’s Day. The big day is quickly approaching and of course everyone who hasn’t gotten those gifts purchased yet, is really starting to stress out. Not to worry though, because up next we’re giving you our ClevverTV Valentine’s Day gift picks.

First up, we’re staying true to tradition. Some might call it super boring but who doesn’t love a cute little teddy bear? But guys, of course we’re upping the anty. Now, you can head over to a great store called Build A Bear where you can create and personalize a bear for the love in your life and dress it up however you want. You can even record a message that goes inside the bear, so when you hug it, the bear talks. Very cute idea that anyone would love, and also very affordable.

Next up, we’re ditching the whole flower idea for something way more modern. Girls love flowers, I know I do, but why not give that special someone an edible arrangement instead. Sounds kind of silly, but seriously these arrangements are made out of fruit and they are so beautiful! Plus, they double as a meal, so you’re killing two birds with one stone. Really, nothing says love like a huge array of apples, oranges, and mangos, right?

Another classic gift that I absolutely love are those little Valentine’s Day candy hearts with messages on them. The Sweethearts candies that we all grew up loving got a big face lift this year. They still have all of the same cute little messages on them, but now they also say stuff like “Tweet Me,” and “Text Me.” We love how the 145-year- old brand is jumping on the social media craze. Did you guys know that the Jonas Brothers actually inspired one of the sweethearts phrases? Yep it’s true. One of the 80 different phrases includes “Love Bug,” which is, as you guys know, one the JB’s biggest hit songs. Also, these little candies are super inexpensive and available almost everywhere.

For those of you guys with a little more cash to spend, why not pick up one of Apple’s new ipod nano’s and then load it up with all of your loved one’s favorite tunes? Also, if you have enough time, Apple will also let you monogram a personal message on the ipod. And if that’s a little to hefty for your budget, go another route and do a mixed CD! Yes, I know, people hardly buy CD’s anymore these days, but it’s a great, thoughtful gift that anyone would enjoy!

And if none of these ideas seem to peak your interest, then just keep it classic and make your boyfriend or girlfriend a cute Valentine’s Day card! I am planning the kindergarten Valentine’s Day party at the school for 20 kids. Does anyone have an idea for a craft, game or treat that is unusual. I am looking for a new idea that maybe the teacher’s have not seen yet. Thanks in advance

Wow that can be fun but exhausting! How about making thumbprint cookies together? Have all the kids make their own thumbprint cookies that they can decorate and then share together. Or you can make Valentine’s Day bookmarks with cut out hearts on Popsicle sticks. If you’re looking for something more traditional of course you can always go with having the kids make each other Valentine’s Day cards so no kid feels left out. Hope that helps! I want to make a chocolate dessert in these small heart pans i bought. They are about 6 inches from top to bottom. I liked this recipe I’ve seen for something I think called "molten lava cake" ??!!?? No clue if thats the name or not, but when you cut into the small cake it oozes out with fudge. Any recipes like that would be great!

Try the recipe for Chocolate Eruption cake at the Dove brand website. Take a look at the picture and see if this is what you were looking for.

This is a fairly easy recipe and cooking time is just a maximum 9 minutes! Simply substitue your heart pans for the ramekins and adjust baking time accordingly (I’d recommend 7 minutes, turn, then bake 5 more). Make sure you don’t overcook as this will reduce the amount of oozing "lava." Yum!!!

Dove’s Dark chocolate is an excellent quality chocolate, too. I hope you enjoy this.

P.S.
A nice variation is to serve it with whipped cream and fresh strawberries or raspberries. Garnish with a sprig of mint 🙂

Me and my wife will be selling flowers on Valentines Day this year and want to sell more than just the standard red roses.Any ideas on what other colors would be popular?

What can I do to make Valentines special this year for my BF? I havent had a valentine in years so I forgot how this works lol

We are in a serious, in love relationship, so hes not just some boyfriend its the real deal!

I dont just want like a bear and a card type thing, I want it to be more special, unique, something he will be impressed or happy about.

every valentines day i make my boyfriend a basket of his favorite things; candy, snacks, drinks, dvds, books, clothes, video games, picture of us, random valentines stuff, and anything he’s been talking about that he needs or wants. he loves it! also cook him dinner/dessert or take him to his favorite place to eat.
but you could always make him homemade gifts; i’ve done a memory jar before, decorate a jar and put memories in it, movie tickets, other event tickets, notes, things you guys have done together, etc. making a scrapbook is always a good idea. i’ve painted a clock from one of those pottery painting places that says "i love you all the time" but you could always buy a cute clock and decorate it and put that on it. also if youre artistic making a painting or drawing. i also always make a homemade card.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for three years. We’re college students and I don’t have a ton of money to spend.

I realize I’ve left this to the last minute a little bit, but I could really use help with some Valentines Day ideas for guys that would be under $20.

I think it’d be romantic to go to the bed right before sunset, set up a picnic, your favorite foods, make a mix cd and bring a boombox, eat watching the sunset, and dancing under the stars! maybe exchanging a poem or thoughtful words

hey im 13.

Go to allrecipes.com. They have amazing recipes with ratings and you can also see the ones that are less difficult to make.
Do your parents drink red wine? If so, make a simple meat dish with a vegetable and potato. You can make strawberry cheesecake for dessert just by following the recipe on the back of the box of cream cheese. Or Chocolate mousse is a romantic Valentines Day dessert. Seafood is a good choice for Valentines day as well. Pair it with a simple dinner salad and some good quality rolls that you have buttered and sprinkled lightly with garlic. Stay away from unromantic messy things like BBQ ribs or casseroles. Set the table nice and pretty complete with candles and folded napkins. Wow…I wish my kids thought to do something like this!
