for teens about 15 yrs old

Well for that age I recommend you just make some simple chocolate fondo (Just melted chocolate). After you do that just cut up some bannanas and buy some strawberries. You could also get marshmallows and some gram crackers to make some quick smores. Also you could bake some chocolate cookies and dip them in the chocolate……hope this helps:)

My valentine school dance is comming up and im student council president. I was wondering if anyone knew any cool decorations or accesories or anything else we could buy to make it special. for our winter dance we even had a snow machine!!! so we get extravagant!! please add ur input!

i am also the president of my student council at my schoola dn we are also hosting a school valentines dance. We are decorarting our gym in mostly pinks,reds,white,purples you no hearts and all the valentine stuff. And since valentiines is the holiday of romance we are asking the dj to play many slow songs for those teenage couples to haev their slow dances. We are also having someone dress up like cupid and those who arent dancing with someone during a slow will be put togther by cupid so everyone is together and not lonely. i hope i answered your question well.

I understand they need a touch of mystery to make it all exciting and stuff but what if the receiver mistakes it as being from someone else? Then gets in a relationship with them and breaks the person it really came from heart. I feel sad thinking about it T_T

Yeah, that is a good point. But someone can be too shy to be declined, so send out the roses to the person they love and wait and see what will happen and they would take some reaction according to the receiver’s action. In this sense, this can be understood.

Get them a video game, that they don’t already have, for their current system.

I swear by OPI nail polishes, and I have many dark red and rich purples but no bright reds. Looking for a lush one to wear Valentines Day. Any ideas please.

I would like to find a recipe, probably a casserole that I can assemble either tonight or tomorrow morning and be able to pop in the oven valentine’s day morning. I’d prefer something with potatoes or hasbrowns, most of the recipes I’ve seen have bread or breadcrumbs, which im not a fan of. Thanks!

Potato and Ham Casserole
1 1/2 lbs. cooked ham, diced
3 green peppers, seeded and cut into strips
1/2 pt. milk
salt and pepper to taste
6 raw potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 medium size onions, sliced
4 oz. grated cheese
Butter

Butter a baking dish, then cover bottom with a layer of potatoes, top with a layer of onions, a layer of peppers, and a layer of ham. Repeat this procedure until the dish is full, ending with a layer of potatoes. Beat egg with milk, season to taste and add to the casserole. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours. Sprinkle with grated cheese and return to the oven (which you can shut off now) long enough for the cheese to melt.

Potato and Egg Bake

1/2 tsp. butter
1 1/2 c mashed potatoes
4 eggs
1 Tbsp. grated Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp pepper

Grease a 9" pie pan with butter. Spread the mshed potatoes evenly in the bottom of the pan. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate till the next morning if you’d like. Preheat an oven to 400 degrees F.
Make 4 evenly spaced indentations in the potatoes and break an egg into each. Sprinkle the potatoes and eggs with cheese, paprika, salt and pepper. Bake for 10 minutes until the eggs are set and the cheese melts. Serves 4.

This one is fancier but also more challenging:

Party Potato Knishes

3 cups mashed potatoes
1 envelope dried onion soup mix
1/8 tsp. black pepper
Pinch of paprika
1 – 17 1/4 oz.pkg. frozen puff pastry sheets (2 sheets, thawed)
Water
Shortening to grease pans.

Prepare mashed potatoes, keeping a thick consistency. Add soup mix, eggs, pepper and paprika. Mix well. Divide each pastry sheet in half. Roll each half into rectangle aproximately 14 x 7 inches. Spread one fourth of the filling over each piece of pastry. Highly moisten seam edges with water and roll lengthwise to form a long strudel. Cut into slices about 3/4 inch thick. Press edges to seal. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze. Arrange slices on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in pre-heated 400 degree F oven for 10 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 degrees and bake additional 10 minutes or until golden brown. The knishes also freeze well after baking. Makes about 32 knishes.

I wanted to use something glittery on my fondant and chocolate decorations for my Valentine’s Day cupcakes. I am mixing the luster/pearl dust with drops of alcohol, but it’s not really working the way I expected it to. It’s seperating and when I paint it onto the fondant, it doesn’t seem to show up. Should I use lemon juice, or vanilla extract instead? Help please!

Brush your fondant with water, then use a pastry brush to dust with the pearl dust.

then take her somewhere she wont expect to tell her you love her and give her a gift. it’s cliche and corny – but jewlery is something she can look at to remember you love her everyday. i say a neclace. doesnt have to be expensive, just thoughful –

she’ll never forget where you took her – it almost doesn’t matter where – just somewhere either pretty or significant.
