I am getting married on Valentine’s Day and need help with ideas for decorations, flowers and favors. My colors are Apple Red, Light Pink, and white.

My hubby and I will be sharing our 2nd anniversary this coming Valentine’s Day!

Since it was the 2nd marriage for both of us, we were very low key. One thing I did was to make our own wedding invites. I took a cute rectangular pad of notes (all of this stuff was Valentines’ theme), and placed them on a sheet of paper, attached carefully with 2-sided tape. Then I used WORD to type the invite on to the tablet sheets. After I was done with that, I came across some really cute Valentine’s day soft, pliable plastic sticky’s that were of varying sizes of hearts, V-day sayings and such. So, I laminated the invites, then attached the little decorations. On the back of the invite, I had a copy of a cute map directions to the Church. These invites were then placed in a standard sized business envelope (pink colored), all in keeping with the red, pink and white theme.
My hubby wore grey and black, and I wore red and black pantsuit.
The after-wedding festivities had valentines balloons, cake, just general stuff. Immediate family and friends.
Like I said, very modest, intimate, small, but memoriable. Had cute little valentine bags full of candy and nick-naks given out for those who came to the wedding, some with gift cards to various restaurants (our way of saying ‘thank you for coming’). A nephew did a video, others had cameras for pics. All very nice.

my friend is totally stumped on what to gives her boyfriend on valentines. the thing is that he might be giving her this really expensive ring! and she wants to him something special. well on his birthday or whatever she gave him this really expensives perfume and he hated it!
any gift ideas?

-framed pic of the two of the them
-homemade cookies or chocolate covered strawberries
-a big pack of hershe’s kisses, and right before you give it to him, say he’s about to get a whole lots of yummy kisses. then drop it in his hand, wink, and give him a kiss on the cheek. [you might think it’s cruel, but he’ll think it’s cute and funny]
-gift card to the mall that on the inside you say, "this is a whole saturday devoted to you…but I get to hold the gift card while we’re shopping…" (like your saying you get to spend it.)

Does anybody here know where I can find WINDOW decorations for Valentine’s Day? More specifically plug in lights in the shape of a heart with an arrow going through it?

I see them wherever I go and I’ve been to every store imaginable that I can think of that has it, (supermarket, party city, walmart, walgreens….) and I simply cannot find them.

Please don’t tell me to E-bay them because I have a very hard time believing everyone on my block and several blocks over all went to E-bay and had a mass purchasing of these lights…

I am trying to come up with a good idea for my fiance for valentine’s day! yes, I know I’m late! : ) Nothing too expensive (we set a low limit) but something more creative. any ideas are appreciated!

What about make him a closed box type of thing with all good memories and photos of yous together doing stuff yous love and had fun doing? Thats unique and not expensive. Once you have put the photos on, use varnish to keep them there always.
