Lots of new movies are coming out on valentine’s, see if any suit you and your special someone. After that or a dinner you can try something sweet, like going to a special place and watching the sunset or cuddling and reading a book you both like. As for gifts, look up the meaning of flowers. Even just getting a flower the same as their favorite color is really good.

How to choose Valentine’s Day bouquets

You might be thinking red for Valentines Day flowers. But maybe your love isnt traditional, or you want to save a little money. Red roses are the most expensive flowers you can buy on Valentines Day, but just any red flower might cost you a lot more. So, think outside the box.

* Go with the favorites. Lets say you know your sweeties favorite flower. All tulips, for instance. All different, gorgeous colors.

* If you dont know her favorite flowers, perhaps you know her favorite color. So get a bouquet thats uses her favorite color in a number of different kinds of flowers.

* If all else fails, think of spring, and go with a beautiful spring bouquet. Spring is never wrong.

* One more idea, the hand-tied bouquet. It’s a unique and portable way to say it with flowers.

Any ideas for Valentines Day crafts for the older kid crowd (like grade 6-8)? Last year we did Hershey kiss roses, which they LOVED!
When I do online searches though, many of the crafts seem a bit too “babyish” for these older kids, so any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

i need a sweet idea for giving my girlfriend roses for valentines day..i want to attach a letter that says something sweet using the roses..does anyone have any good ideas..or have had something sweet done for you on valentines???

Im giving you 3 roses to symbalize our past, present, and future.
Then write about them. Here are some ideas but of course you need to change them to be more personal.
Past-From the day I meet you in ____________ I knew you were going to be a special part of my life. We have shared so many good times and memories.
Present-I look forward to seeing you everyday. You light up the room with your smile. Waking up and coming to see you knowing you will hug me always makes life seem a little easier.
Future- I want to share many more memories with you. We have had so many laughs and special moments that I am looking forward to more.

This is our second Valentines day together. I never know what to get him the first one i gave him the cute little stuffed animal, card/note, and silk pajama pants w lips on them. This V Day i want to do something extra nice but he isn’t too expressive. He loves cars and going out but im trying to keep it NOT TACKY and under $200. what is a typical nice gift and a way for me to tell him i love him that will catch him off guard??
