    Aztecs mixed …
Aztecs mixed chocolate and chile peppers.
They do go well together, if has been done (again) since the early ’90s.
It doesn’t need to be a hot chile, it can be ancho or the chili powder mixes from stores.

The fat and sugar from the chocolate offsets the heat. The earthy part of the pepper flavor mixes well with the chocolate.

Coffee liquor or espresso would be a nice addition too.

    The cream you put …
The cream you put into coffee might be half and half, which doesn’t have enough fat to whip up properly.
If you put the whipped cream topping on overnight, some of it will liquefy. Whipped cream is mostly but not completely stable.
An egg should last a week if it wasn’t too near its expiration date. There are pasturized eggs in cartons if you are concerned about safety. Eggs cook at 140 and he takes it to 150.
Boiling water is too hot and harder to control.
